8 oz raw almonds
16 oz purified or spring water
1 Tb cold water
1 tsp arrowroot powder
1 tsp tapioca flour
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/8 tsp nutmeg
Place all ingredients, except the arrowroot and cold water in blender. In a separate bowl, mix the arrowroot powder with the colder water until mixture is combined. Add to blender and blend all ingredients until the almonds are pulverized. Strain the liquid through a fine sieve. Serve warm. Use the remaining almond meats over hot cereal, in chutneys or desserts.
